Good at all KCPL locations

Your free library card lets you:

• Check out up to 50 physical items at one time, with these exceptions:*
  • Item limits include:
    • 2-Day Loan
      • Express DVDs – Up to 2 items
    • 7-Day Loan
      • Express Books – Up to 2 items
    • 14-Day Loan
      • Hand Tools - Up to 5 items
      • Power Tools - Up to 2 items
      • Wi-Fi HotSpots - Up to 1 item
      • Video Games - Up to 1 item
    • 21-Day Loan
      • Audiobooks – Up to 50 items
      • Books – Up to 50 items
      • DVDs – Up to 50 items
      • Music CDs – Up to 50 items
      • New Books – Up to 50 items
      • Playaways – Up to 50 items

• Renew an item 2 times if the item has not been requested by another patron
• Place holds on most items not currently available
• Review your library account online

*Note: Downloaded titles from Libby and Hoopla are limited to 10 items, but do not count as part of the 50 item limit. Hand and power tools are located at the Main Library only.
