“CELEBRATE WEST VIRGINIA!” is a musical journey from early explorers and settlers, to our state’s Civil War beginnings, to railroad builders, coal miners and hard-working mountaineers with song after song celebrating mountains, rivers, and the spirit of the people of West Virginia.

Over the past thirty years, Mick Souter has made over 3,000 appearances in schools, colleges, festivals, state parks and theaters in West Virginia and several other states with his various programs: “A Visit with Stephen Foster”, “The Roads and Rails of Woody Guthrie”, “Ever Sings a River”, “All Aboard the Iron Horse” and “They Made America Work”. Mick’s shows have received Consistently high praise for both content and quality. “CELEBRATE WEST VIRGINIA!” employs the same high standards in a show that’s sure to rouse the spirits of proud West Virginians everywhere.
