Join us in October for our Freedom to Read Challenge! We challenge you to read one book this month that is on the American Library Association's challenged books list.

The ALA keeps data on the most challenged books of the year, starting in 1990 and ending in 2022. Find the ALA's most recent and archived data on censorship and challenged books here: https://bit.ly/45ffBkd

Participants who earn the completion badge for this challenge may visit the IDEA Lab at the Main Library to turn their virtual badge into a physical button to proudly wear or display. Pre-made buttons will be available in limited quantities at each library branch.
