Program Description

Event Details

As part of our National Library Week (April 19-25) programming, we are hosting a local Author Fair. Local authors will be selling copies of their books. This year's National Library Week theme, "Find Your Joy", was selected by Mychal Threets, ALA's Honorary NLW Chair and new host of Reading Rainbow. It brings us joy to share our local authors with the Charleston community!

Confirmed authors currently include:

David Mould - travel and historical biography writer, journalist, recently published Mission to Madagascar: The Sergeant, the King, and the Slave Trade

Tristan Martinez - children's book author and high school student, Trizzy's Midnight Mic Drop

Malia Courts - children's self-help author, Love

Leslee Stover - young adult adventure author, Stranded duology

Andy Richardson & Emma Carpenter - children's book co-authors, Our Charlie West Treasure Hunt

TJ West - West Virginia LGBTQ romance author, Country Road Romance
