Thanks to KCPL's generous community partner, the Charleston Dirty Birds, readers who borrow 5 picture books from any KCPL location between November 15 - December 15, 2025 earn a FREE CHILD'S TICKET to attend KCPL Night at the Salango Law Dirty Birds Light the Night on Monday, December 15 from 5 - 9 pm. Photo ops will be available throughout the evening.
Readers/families may claim free ticket(s) at the library when the books are borrowed.
Each FREE CHILD'S TICKET is for children age 12 and under, with a limit of 4 per family, while supplies last, and is only valid for Monday, December 15.

All tickets are general admission and give you access to walk-through West Virginia's BIGGEST lights show of more than 2.5 million lights with numerous themed areas, vendors, and visits with Santa Claus!
There are other paid activities available including Santa photos, train rides, ice skating/skate rental, Ferris wheel rides, bounce houses, festive treats (food and drink), and holiday goodies from local vendors.
