Event Details

Join local gardener Leslie Fitzwater-Smithson and learn the basics of how a seed grows into a plant. She will also share gardening fun facts, like why worms are important and the Native American Legend of the Three Sisters. Fitzwater-Smithson has had articles published by Wonderful West Virginia magazine and the West Virginia Division of Forestry. Children will receive a complimentary Grow Bag and seeds from MyPlate.Gov and the WVU Extension Office.  Ages 6-12 and caregiver.

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.
