Dr. Kenneth Bailey, author of Kanawha County Public Library: A History, will review the history of the Kanawha County Public Library, with a focus on the Main Library in downtown Charleston. This talk will bring us from the inception of the library system to the present-day Main Library, now fully renovated with 20,000 new square feet of space, beautifully sculpted glass walls reaching to the sky, and ready to serve our region for decades to come.

Join us to learn more about the library and how it has become an iconic landmark in downtown Charleston.
