Join us for a course on Easy to Grow Microgreens presented by the Kanawha County Master Gardeners. Microgreens are easy to grow in any setting, nutrient dense, and delicious! This session will demonstrate a variety of growing methods, explore the types of seed used for microgreens, consider culinary uses, and includes a make-and-take microgreen garden for all participants.

Jessica Pollitt Hudson is a health educator and Master Gardener with the WVU Extension in Kanawha County. She has worked to support school and community gardens in Kanawha County for 10 years.

The West Virginia University Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer educational program meeting the horticultural needs of everyday West Virginians. The program trains volunteers, utilizing their expertise to teach others more about plants, their culture, their importance to the environment and to our quality of life.
