Program Description

Event Details

Microgreens are easy to grow in any setting, nutrient dense, and delicious! This session will demonstrate a variety of growing methods, explore the types of seed used for microgreens, consider culinary uses, and includes a make-and-take microgreen garden for all participants.

This session is family friendly, with activities for all ages.  No special equipment or experience needed.

Jessica Pollitt Hudson is a Health Educator and Master Gardener with WVU Extension in Kanawha County.  She has worked to support school and community gardens in Kanawha County for 10 years.

Registration is required to participate in this program.
