Program Description

Event Details

Bil Lepp is five-time champion of the WV Liars' Contest and a full time traveling storyteller and humorist. His stories are funny and family friendly. Skeeter & Bil Break the Ocean is a humorous tall-tale that explores the power of the individual, no matter how small or insignificant they believe they are. Bil's grandfather convinces the boys they have broken the ocean -because they don't know anything about the tides- and Skeeter and Bil try to fix it through various hilarious means. The story also explores being the youngest sibling, family vacations, long car trips, the water cycle, and werewolves through an hysterical and enthralling sequence of events. Recommended ages 7 and up. Family.

This event is part of our "Building Character at the Library" Series.
