Reading Celebration & Ice Cream Social
July 29 | 12:00pm  - 4:00pm | All Ages
KCPL hosts our final Super Saturday. Library staff will be available to assist with logging books and activities before July 31. Ice cream treats and more. What a way to end the summer!

All Super Saturday events are on Capitol Street in front of the Main Library. At every event, you can register and read with our Summer Library Club, get or renew a library card, enjoy arts and crafts projects, play games on the front plaza, try STEM activities with the IDEA Lab, and participate in other intergenerational events. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Library.

Main Library Patrons with strollers, wheelchairs, or other wheeled devices will find it easier to use the Jacobson Tower entrance on Quarrier Street or the Skybridge entrance via Summers Street Garage.

Accompanying Adults

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

All programs are subject to rescheduling or cancellation in the event of inclement weather.
