Celebrate West Virginia's 162 year of statehood with a pre-birthday concert! Join us for an evening of song and music honoring West Virginia's past and present. We are proud to present Logan County singer-songwriter, Roger Bryant as our special guest. In addition to singing, Mr. Bryant plays guitar, autoharp, and mountain dulcimer. Mr. Bryant who is well known in the world of West Virginia heritage music in his own right, is the grandson of WV folk music legend Aunt Jennie Wilson. Among other honors, he was the 2016 recipient of the Vandalia Award, West Virginia's highest honor for musicians. In his other life, he is the Executive Director of the Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority, and was recognized as the 2021 Director of the Year by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. Please join us for this special evening. Light refreshments will be served and there will be West Virginia themed door prizes. All Ages. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
