- KCPL's new software management system will launch on Monday, December 8, affecting Library services on the following dates:
- All KCPL locations closed - Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7
- All KCPL locations will be open with limited services only - Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5. KCPL will close at 5:00 pm both days.
- KCPL Online Services will be unavailable - December 5 through December 7
- All Library Card Holders must reset their password beginning December 8
- KCPL will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23 and be closed on Wednesday, December 24 & Thursday December 25 for the Christmas Holiday.
- KCPL will no longer be offering Music CDs in our collection. This change is being made due to the decrease in popularity of CDs and low circulation numbers.

Calling all Pokémon Fans! Our Pokémon Club is an opportunity for young Pokémon enthusiasts (ages 12 & under) to battle, share, and play with each other. Children trading cards need permission from their guardian to do so.
