- KCPL's new software management system will launch on Monday, December 8, affecting Library services on the following dates:
- All KCPL locations closed - Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7
- All KCPL locations will be open with limited services only - Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5. KCPL will close at 5:00 pm both days.
- KCPL Online Services will be unavailable - December 5 through December 7
- All Library Card Holders must reset their password beginning December 8
- KCPL will close at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 23 and be closed on Wednesday, December 24 & Thursday December 25 for the Christmas Holiday.
- KCPL will no longer be offering Music CDs in our collection. This change is being made due to the decrease in popularity of CDs and low circulation numbers.

If you have too many holiday decorations, bring some in. If you need some new (to you!) decorations, help yourself to whatever we have! This table will be available all month, so please check in frequently for different items.

Main Library Patrons with strollers, wheelchairs, or other wheeled devices will find it easier to use the Jacobson Tower entrance on Quarrier Street or the Skybridge entrance via Summers Street Garage.
Head, shoulders, HANDS, and toes....help us keep all of these warm by bringing hats, scarves, mittens or socks for friends in the community! We will decorate our Mitten Tree with your donations. Donations accepted through December 31.
