The West Virginia Book Festival announced today that its 2021 event will be offered in a virtual format due to risks associated with the coronavirus pandemic.  Originally, the Book Festival was to be held at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, but will now be hosted online on Octo

The Kanawha County Public Library system is excited to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website: kcpls.org.

The Riverside Public Library will be closed beginning July 25^th due to construction as Riverside High School undergoes renovations this summer. The branch’s last day of operation will be Saturday, July 24^th. The library is expected to reopen in October.

It’s back on the road again for KCPL’s Mobile Library. The bookmobile’s regular service schedule was shut down due to the COVID pandemic in 2020, but the Mobile Library hits the streets again beginning July 6^th.
