Program Description

Event Details

Code Club will meet monthly in the IDEA Lab to learn about coding resources and technologies, work on ongoing projects, and collaborate with other learners. Every month we will have a short coding lesson and an opportunity to share our progress, followed by some free work time. You can bring your own computer, or use one of ours. Come code with us!

These programs are primarily designed for tweens and teens with limited coding experience, but all ages and experience levels are welcome. (Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult).

You do not have to have attended previous Code Club sessions to start coming to these programs, but registration IS required due to limited space.

INTERNET DISCLAIMER: Due to the technological requirements necessary to learn and practice coding, participants will be using internet-enabled devices and may be encouraged access coding-related websites, such as app.fierocode.com, during these programs. If you have any questions, please contact kelsey.johnson@kcpls.org
