Clendenin Branch Library
Open: Everyday 24 Hours
The Kanawha County Public Library returns to Sunday hours at its Main Library on March 5th, 2023. Sunday hours were discontinued with the onset of the COVID 19 crisis and the start of the Main Library renovation in 2020.
“We believe it’s time to reopen the Main Library on Sundays,” said Library Director Erika Connelly. “There has been much public interest in the idea since the Downtown Library reopened last May and we feel the time is ripe to again offer our products and services on Sunday afternoons.”
Beginning March 5th and continuing through the end of April, KCPL’s Main Library will offer Sunday hours from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Main will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 9th. After the summer break, the Library expects to again offer Sunday hours beginning in September.
