KCPL's Summer Library Club Returns

Posted on:

Get ready for a summer of reading fun at the Kanawha County Public Library, which launches its 2023 Summer Library Club on June 1st. KCPL’s Summer Library Club (SLC) is designed as a series of fun activities for readers of all ages during June and July, including 5 Super Saturday events at the Main Library in Downtown Charleston.

SLC offers programs to develop and build literacy skills for young readers while establishing a lifetime love of reading and learning for readers of any age. Once registered, readers log books, attend events, and complete activities to earn prizes and awards, including the chance to win a Grand Prize at the end of the summer. This year’s theme is “All Together Now!”.
